Dolyn Construction is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our Vice President and beloved friend, Ryan Currier.

Ryan passed away from a heart attack on February 9th, 2020. He was 45. He is survived by his lovely family: wife Sophie, children Jackson and Addison, parents Robert and Lynice Currier, sister Stacy Dubé and brother in law Glen Murtagh.

On behalf of Dolyn, our hearts go out to Ryan’s family and friends. We are stunned and heartbroken to lose such an incredible man and irreplaceable part of our own family.

Ryan Currier set the bar for excellence in construction. He joined our team 20 years ago, his good heart and passion for quality work helped build Dolyn into the company it is today. He was firm, but unwaveringly fair. Competitive, and so kind. He set an example for our team that work is important, but family always comes first.

We are honoured to have worked alongside Ryan, and are so grateful for the past two decades learning with, and from him.

In light of this tragedy, we thank our partners, clients and friends for allowing our team time to grieve and transition. President Doug Burnside will continue to run Dolyn Construction in the interim.
