Dolyn Developments Inc. was incorporated in January 1989. It is owned solely by its operators Douglas and Lynne Burnside. After serving hundreds of satisfied clients and executing over $170 million in construction, a great deal of experience has been gained, quality projects delivered and many friends made.
In 2014, we separated our Property Portfolio and Property Management from our construction activities and hence Dolyn Construction Ltd. was launched operating with the same personnel but under a new banner.
Dolyn is an established Design/Builder with nearly half of its larger projects being procured through this process where we are retained prior to the hiring of the design consultants. Our clients have found this brings about a project within their budget range, more rapidly and cost-effectively. This is often through the employment of the Construction Management Procurement Method.
General Contracting remains a strong and active part of our business showing our keen understanding of new projects and our ability bid and win contracts competitively and successfully.
34 years have gone by very quickly. We look back with a great deal of pride on what we have accomplished, the relationships we have made and our growth in the industry. We look forward to what the future holds in our ever-expanding marketplace.
